Returns & Exchanges

Of course, we accept returns. If for any reason you wish to return an item, please let us know by e-mail or ‘phone as soon as possible and no later than 14 days. Along with your purchase, you will have received a return slip – please include this with your return – this will help us process your refund.
In common with other jewellery businesses, we will not accept returns/refunds for any item that has been specially altered, resized or personalised for you, nor, can we by law, accept returns of earrings.
If you post the item back to us, please use Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class signed for service – but note, that if the item gets lost, neither you nor us will be able to get compensation. If the item had a cost of over £100, we recommend you use Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service which is super quick and pays full compensation for the value of the item in the event of loss.
We will try to refund you as quickly as possible – and by the means by which you paid. Sometimes it is difficult for us to make a payment to a credit or debit card, so we may have to pay by Bank transfer in which case we will ask you for bank details to enable us to make the payment. We will need – account name, sort code and account number and this information will be destroyed after payment is made.
As a last resort, we can pay you by cheque.
Returns received at the end of a week or weekend will be dealt with promptly the following week.
Whilst happy to make a refund for any reason, including just a change of mind, we expect that the item returned will be undamaged, unworn and in the internal packaging in which it was delivered.
Unless in the circumstance that an item is somehow faulty, we only refund your original purchase cost – not any postage/delivery to you, or the cost of the return postage. Where an item you purchased proves to be faulty on our part, we will refund both outgoing and return postage costs.
As outlined on the Return Slip – please DO NOT address your package back to us with GAELO JEWELLERY! The word JEWELLERY on any package in the post might attract the unwelcome attention of light fingers.
